Hello to all contributors! I am in desperate need of help with rent money for the month of October, which is pass due, and November 2011 is just around the corner. I am from West Hartford, CT. 44 years old, been unemployed since June of this year, and have had no luck in finding a job. I'm depressed and don't have family or friends to turn to. I have always been self-reliant but for the past 3 years, financially, It has been painful struggling, some days I just feel like giving it all up... don't ask me what that means because I don't know or won't know until it happens... I need to raise $800 by Nov. 10th, 2011, or my landlord will evict me from her property. I'm no good at asking or begging for help because I grew up with no one to help me make it in the world, which made me look inward for help... After two years my girlfriend left, she is military as am I.  She was in a field training with the infantry and after three weeks there she came home and packed.  Took a girl that I consider mine, and our son.  I am completely lost, broke and so confused.  She gave so very few vague reasons for leaving other than she was confused and felt she didn't love me.  That night she was in his house.  I know that something happened while she was there.  I believe she will come home but she won't get into details about anything when we talk.  I love her more than my own life.  Literally.  I'm thinking it a lot, car crash, gun... but I can't move on in this world or the next without her.  I can't leave my two oldest children.  I just need to know from a female, at 20 with two children what is going on in her head and heart.  I'd like to chat if possible.  I have questions she won't answer and love that won't stop hurting.  Someone help me please. 

I'm looking for funding for law school.  My goal is to become a Pro Bono Attorney to help victims of predatory lenders and other legal areas.  I was attending law school with my own funds and had to drop out after a wrongful foreclosure by Chase during the Wamu Chase Merge.  I'm still in the home and in the courts.  I'm hispanic and a single mother of 5 .

i am a 20 year old female who recently bailed out of county jail. the police took my car, companion and all my money for something i am innocent of yet i am still fighting my case. i need to pay my bailbonds 0 or i will be back in that horrible place. i also need money for transportation and to get back on my feet. somebody please help me i have to pay it within two days or i don't know wht they will do to me!!!!!! i am in desperate need! 

I need to know if anyone knows some ins and outs of financial aid (and not FAFSA b/c that is hopeless)...

Ok, I'm 23 and I'm finally( YAY!) finishing up my teaching degree...I've paid cash this far, but due to a lay off I lost my job halfway through this semester and I owe a little under a grand on this current semester(due May 5th or my grades will be dropped for classes that I have finished)...because I'm single, no kids, not military I was considered a dependant for 2009-2010 school year so FAFSA is and was out of the question(my parents will under no circumstances submit their info so this has been an ongoing battle since I started college at 18).

Does anyone know anyways around this, any funds that offer grants that quickly, anything...any and all input is sooo appreciated!!! I know that there are other people dealing with this, I just can't seem to figure out how they've figured it out.

I am 33 years old, mother of 5 and need help. I am willing to payback anything that I borrow. I am in financial strain of 1400.00 and Will be evicted from my apartment on Saturday Sept 5,2009 if i cant get it. I have tried loans, banks, friends, family and now strangers to help. I work and try to support myself as much as possible but sometimes hard without education and a career right now. If you can help please know this is a loan and will be handled that way. I am a 21 year old female, who is 7 months pregnant. Me and my husband don't make much money and I can not afford to continue to pursue an education. I have only 2 years to go and need a total of $21,000. My first payment of $600 is due April 4th 2009 and so far I have $50. A little background about me: My family escaped from America because the president of my country was killing and torturing whoever stood in his way. My parents feared for our safety so they brought us to the Promised Land. Ever since I was a little girl, my dad and mom made sure that our education was our top priority. Now my father is 50 years old and he works from 6am to 11pm in a gas station so we can live. My mom can not work because she suffers from severe depression which she got after 14 of her family members died in one day. So please help me get through school so I can start working and providing for my family and my baby. If you would like proof of my school balance, I will be happy to email it to you. I dont have any family out here and am all alone

I work as much as I can but that just cover costs of rent, hydro, and transportation.

I'm so fustrated and I cant believe I have such a horrible time making it on my own.

I dont get to come online very often but at my work i get to come on during break.

Wasn't sure how to respond to the fact I visited links someone recommanded. I have gotten in touch with most of the people from those links, but so far, I am told that I should qualify for SSI and to look towards the DVR for help. It looks as though I am doing all I can I am told. Perhaps this is because they really don't have anything for those pursuing higher education? I know that I was diagonsed just at the time autism was getting into the medical dictonary and that there have been a lot of research and help being opened up--unfortently, they are focusing their efforts on children. I seem to be stuck in the spot where if I had been born even five years ealier, I would not have had the resources I did had, but than again, if I had been five years later, a lot more could have been done for me and to help me out.
It makes me very disappointed that those who seem to be decicated to autism are focusing just on children. What about us adults who had parents who made sure doctors did whatever they could, despite not knowing much at all about autism and those of us who were able to benifit from those treatments despite the doctors saying it would never help?
It is as if people are saying, hey you have beaten the odds and are now higher functioning than you were but sorry, we don't know how to deal with you and well, children are more important. Its not fair and I feel bad ranting about it here, but it is frustrating to see the little help that is avaliable or known even from Autism Societies for adults. Who knows, maybe if I didn't have all the other problems, I could be better off, but I don't want to think of that.
I am who I am and my best is turning out to not be good enough. This is terrifing for me since I have a little over a year, less if my disabilities affect me as badly as they did last semester. Last semester, I was stuck in bed for three weeks because of the fibro and I cannot find any help. That is why I came here because all I want is a way where I can afford my medication, doctor bills and some other necissities. Please, if anyone has any more ideas, please share.

MY PARENTS ABANDONED US 9 KIDS WHEN WE WERE REALLY YOUNG AND EVEN BEFORE THAT THEY NEVER TOOK CARE OF US I RAISED ALL OF MY SIBLINGS I WAS THE OLDEST OF 9 AND THEY NEVER TOOK US TO THE DENTIST EVER AND AS AN ADULT MY MOUTH KILLS WITH PAIN EVERYDAY IT ALWAYS SWELLS UP OR IS RED AND BLISTERY I HAVE HAD TO HAVE 5 TEETH PULLED BECAUSE I HAD NO OTHER CHOICE AND THE TEETH I HAVE LEFT ARE UGLY, BROKEN, AND AND ARE WAY TO MUCH PAIN TO EVEN EXPLAIN. THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH MONEY OUT THERE TO PAY FOR MY NEEDS I ALWAYS COME LAST ALWAYS HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL.I KNOW THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO DESERVE THE AND NEED THE WORLD I KNOW I DON'T DESERVE HELP BUT I PAINFULLY NEED IT ANY AT ALL. I WOULD HELP YOU ALL IF I COULD. THE LAST VISIT TO THE DENTIST WAS ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO HE TOLD ME IT WOULD BE AROUND $6,000.00 TO FIX JUST THE TOP FRONT ROW WITHOUT FIXING ANY OTHER OF THE TEETH. I WILL NEVER HAVE THE MONEY TO TAKE CARE OF EVEN ONE OF THOSE TEETH LET ALONE ALL OF THEM. MY BOYS COME FIRST AND ALWAYS WILL. I AM BEGGING FOR ANY HELP IN THIS EXPENSE MAYBE A DENTIST WILLING TO HELP OR JUST ANYONE EVEN A COUPLE DOLLARS HERE AND THERE HELP.
